Apply for 2015 Watershed Ed Grants!

Application forms and guidelines for Watershed Education Grants from the Catskill Watershed Corp. are now available at http://cwconline.org/education_program.html

 

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for projects or programs for students and teachers. A separate grant program provides up to $5,000 for programs intended for adult audiences.

 

Deadline is Feb. 2, 2015. Project start date is Sept. 1, 2015.

 

Forestry Bus Tour grants too!

The Watershed Forestry Bus Tour Program funds groups that want to experience the NYC watershed and water supply system in person. Any 4th-12th grade classroom, organization, community group or professional organization in NYC or the watershed region is invited to apply for 1 of 4 Bus Tour Options.

This competitive matching grant program awards up to $3,000 for tours in the East or West of Hudson regions of the watershed. Participants learn about the NYC watershed's lands, waters, and people with a special focus on how healthy, well-managed forests work to protect water quality and support the local economy.
