Science Workshop – What’s in your Backyard?

Do you want to learn more about science in the Catskills? Do you want to find out where there is a hidden reservoir in Blenheim? Do you want to see fossilized remains of the oldest forest ever found on Earth? Do you want to meet and work with other local science teachers? Sign up for this workshop organized by Neil Snedecker from Roxbury Central School and earn PD credits. Sites include Blenheim-Gilboa Visitor’s Center to learn about the history and engineering of the facility, Minekill Falls to learn about local geology and ecology, and the Gilboa Museum to learn about fossils and the history of the Schoharie Reservoir.  More info and online registration here
